We are seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide in-home care to patients, assisting with daily living activities and personal care. You will support clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care tasks
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to healthcare providers
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist patients with mobility, including using assistive devices like wheelchairs
- Ensure patient medication schedules are followed
- Maintain detailed records of patient care and condition
Requirements:
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide is preferred
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a home environment
Work Environment:
- Work in patients’ homes, often traveling between multiple locations
- Physically demanding tasks, including assisting patients with mobility
- Regular interaction with patients and their families
