We are looking for diligent Cemetery Groundskeepers to maintain the grounds of our cemetery. This role is essential for ensuring that the cemetery remains a respectful and peaceful environment for visitors and families.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and planting flowers and shrubs
• Maintain pathways, driveways, and other hardscape areas to ensure safety and accessibility
• Clean and clear debris from the grounds, including litter and fallen branches
• Assist in the setup for memorial services and special events
• Monitor the condition of gravestones and markers, reporting any needed repairs
• Collaborate with the cemetery management team to uphold policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment, such as mowers and trimmers
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a respectful environment

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work environment, exposed to various weather conditions
• May require working weekends and holidays
