Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for building client relationships, analyzing insurance needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others find the right insurance coverage. If you thrive in a goal-driven environment and have a knack for sales, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective clients through networking, referrals, and outreach activities.
  • Assess clients’ insurance needs and recommend suitable products (e.g., life, health, property, and casualty insurance).
  • Develop customized insurance plans that align with clients’ goals and financial situations.
  • Explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options to clients, ensuring they understand their choices.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Process policy applications, claims, renewals, and adjustments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and company policies.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to promote retention and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and policy transactions in CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Insurance Agent, Insurance Sales Representative, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and related regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Insurance license for the relevant state (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred.

Work Environment

  • This role may involve travel to meet clients in person or conduct virtual meetings (specify based on your company’s practice).
  • Office-based, remote, or hybrid work environment (specify as needed).
