We are looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of patient care. This role involves overseeing daily nursing operations, managing staff, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring effective staffing and patient care
- Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain high standards of care
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Monitor and assess the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Manage department budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, to ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols
- Address and resolve patient concerns, providing a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuous improvement in nursing practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management preferred
- Current RN license in good standing
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of healthcare practices and procedures
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient care and staff development
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
