We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet project goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects according to timelines, budgets, and specifications
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure smooth workflow
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and report on project status to management and stakeholders
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and contracts
  • Liaise with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Help manage project changes, ensuring proper documentation and communication of scope, budget, or schedule adjustments
  • Track project deliverables and ensure that quality standards are met
  • Assist in procurement activities, including preparing requests for proposals, evaluating bids, and managing contracts
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation
  • Support the Project Manager in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, management, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to managing tasks
  • Experience in construction, IT, or engineering projects is a plus

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional site visits, depending on the project requirements
