We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our facilities team. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across different areas of the facility. Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring supplies are replenished as needed
• Empty trash receptacles and recycle bins, properly disposing of waste materials
• Clean windows, doors, and walls, ensuring a pleasant environment for all occupants
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture for events and meetings
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to facilities management promptly
• Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are properly maintained
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
• Participate in periodic deep cleaning projects as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a custodian or in a similar cleaning role is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
