An Aesthetician is a skincare specialist responsible for providing various beauty treatments to enhance clients’ appearance and improve skin health. Responsibilities:

• Apply makeup and educate clients on proper skincare and cosmetic application techniques.
• Administer body treatments such as wraps, scrubs, and peels.
• Educate clients on proper at-home skincare routines and recommend professional products that can enhance their results.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use.
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques through continued education.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Manage appointment scheduling and client consultations, ensuring smooth operations within the spa or salon.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved aesthetician program and a valid state license to practice as an aesthetician.
• Proven experience in a spa or beauty salon is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of skin types, conditions, and best practices for skincare.
• Knowledge of various beauty treatments, including facials, waxing, and makeup application.
