We are seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Tour Guide to lead group tours of local attractions and landmarks. Your role is to entertain and inform guests, providing insights into the area’s history, culture, and significance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead tours of local attractions, providing interesting and accurate information
• Answer questions and engage with tour participants
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests during the tour
• Keep the group on schedule and follow the planned itinerary
• Research and stay updated on historical or cultural facts about the area
• Manage group dynamics and maintain a positive atmosphere

Requirements:

• Excellent public speaking and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of the local area’s history and culture
• Ability to manage groups of different sizes
• Physical stamina to walk and stand for long periods during tours
• Previous experience as a tour guide is a plus

Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoor work at historical sites, museums, or natural landmarks
• Physically active with walking and standing required
