We are hiring an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance to end-users in a corporate setting. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure systems, and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
- Install and configure software applications and operating systems
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure consistent network performance
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts and permissions
- Provide timely and effective technical support to staff in person, over the phone, and via remote tools
- Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
- Assist in system upgrades and maintenance of IT infrastructure
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant IT certifications (A+, Network+, etc.) are a plus
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to different company locations
- Physically light tasks but may involve installing hardware or lifting computer equipment
- Regular interaction with office staff and other IT personnel
