Job Description

We are hiring an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance to end-users in a corporate setting. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, install and configure systems, and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
  • Install and configure software applications and operating systems
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure consistent network performance
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts and permissions
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to staff in person, over the phone, and via remote tools
  • Document technical issues and solutions for future reference
  • Assist in system upgrades and maintenance of IT infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant IT certifications (A+, Network+, etc.) are a plus

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to different company locations
  • Physically light tasks but may involve installing hardware or lifting computer equipment
  • Regular interaction with office staff and other IT personnel
