We are hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform tests on patient samples, including blood, tissue, and other body fluids. You will support the healthcare team by providing accurate diagnostic information for patient treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and process patient specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples
- Perform laboratory tests using specialized equipment and techniques
- Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and precision
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, sterile work environment
- Follow safety protocols for handling biohazardous materials
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide diagnostic information
- Keep detailed records of tests, procedures, and patient data
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict safety guidelines
Work Environment:
- Work in a hospital or laboratory setting
- Physically moderate tasks involving standing for long periods and operating lab equipment
- Regular interaction with laboratory staff, healthcare providers, and patients
