We are looking for a dedicated Live-In Senior Caregiver to provide round-the-clock care for an elderly individual in their home. You will assist with personal care, medication management, and daily activities, ensuring the client’s comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with mobility, including transfers and using assistive devices
- Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental stimulation
- Monitor the client’s health and report changes in condition to family members or healthcare professionals
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe living environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
- Ability to live in the client’s home full-time
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of elderly clients
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Work Environment:
- Live in the client’s home, providing continuous care and support
- Physically moderate to demanding tasks, depending on the client’s needs
- Regular communication with the client’s family and healthcare providers
