We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Analyst to assess and manage the costs of production, projects, and operations. This role involves analyzing financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing insights into how to improve efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate has strong financial analysis skills, is comfortable with data, and can communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze costs of production, materials, labor, and other expenses to provide accurate cost assessments
• Monitor and track project expenses to ensure adherence to budgets
• Develop cost models to forecast and estimate future project and operational costs
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and projected costs
• Collaborate with various departments (e.g., procurement, operations, and finance) to improve cost efficiency
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to improve profitability
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies related to cost management
• Support audits by providing detailed financial information as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or financial analysis
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial regulations
