Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and analytical Category Manager to oversee product categories and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing category strategies, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing product assortments to meet customer needs and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure favorable terms for the company.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and inventory teams to optimize product assortments and promotional strategies.

- Conduct regular reviews of product offerings to identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.
- Prepare and present category reports and recommendations to senior management.

- Train and support team members on category management best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or retail management.
