Job Description

The VP of Talent Acquisition is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. This position leads the talent acquisition team, focusing on attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent across all levels of the organization. The VP of Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in shaping the employer brand and enhancing the overall candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic talent acquisition plan that supports the organization’s growth and business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify current and future hiring needs, ensuring alignment with workforce planning initiatives
  • Oversee the development and execution of recruitment marketing strategies to enhance the company’s employer brand and attract high-quality candidates
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze recruitment metrics, trends, and effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies
  • Implement innovative sourcing strategies, including social media, job boards, networking, and employee referrals, to build a robust talent pipeline
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding
  • Partner with HR and other departments to develop programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the hiring process
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in talent acquisition to maintain a competitive edge
  • Manage the recruitment budget and optimize resources for maximum efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, with a proven track record in leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employer branding, and candidate experience
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment analytics tools
  • Ability to analyze data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for building diverse and inclusive teams, with a commitment to equity in hiring practices
