An Event Coordinator assists in the planning and execution of various events, such as conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings. The role involves working closely with the event manager, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations before, during, and after the event.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, ensuring all logistics are in place
- Communicate with clients to determine their needs and expectations
- Coordinate with vendors for services such as catering, audio-visual, decorations, and entertainment
- Manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed according to the schedule
- Handle event set-up, registration, and coordination of volunteers or support staff
- Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations at the event venue
- Troubleshoot on-site issues, providing solutions to ensure the event runs smoothly
- Conduct post-event evaluations, collecting feedback to improve future events
- Maintain accurate records of event-related details, including budget tracking

- Provide administrative support, such as sending invitations, managing RSVPs, and drafting event correspondence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
