A Maid or Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within private homes, hotels, or commercial establishments. This role involves cleaning rooms, managing laundry, and ensuring that all areas are neat, sanitized, and welcoming for guests or residents.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to the required standards
• Change bed linens, make beds, and restock towels and other amenities
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces in living spaces and common areas
• Dispose of trash and replace garbage bags as needed
• Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces
• Launder and iron clothes, towels, and bed linens, when required
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor or property owner
• Organize and tidy personal belongings and common areas, if applicable
• Clean appliances, furniture, and upholstery as directed
• Follow health and safety protocols, especially when handling cleaning chemicals
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure they are stored properly after use
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Good physical stamina and the ability to handle repetitive tasks
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures
• Trustworthiness and discretion when working in private homes
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed
