The Sales Advisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service, guiding clients through the purchasing process, and helping them select the best products to meet their needs. They play a key role in driving sales, building relationships with customers, and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Sales Advisors also stay up to date on product knowledge and company promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide expert advice on products and services to meet customers‘ needs.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay informed on the latest products, promotions, and store policies.
- Process transactions accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall store performance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and identify their needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
