The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for processing customer orders from receipt to delivery. This role includes picking, packing, shipping, and ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The Fulfillment Specialist works in coordination with the warehouse and logistics teams to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient delivery of products to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify order details, inspect products for quality, and ensure proper packaging.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to organize and prioritize order fulfillment tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Use fulfillment software or systems to process orders and print shipping labels.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule shipments and track delivery progress.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Ensure that the fulfillment area is organized, clean, and complies with safety regulations.
- Handle returns and exchanges, ensuring proper documentation and product restocking.
- Troubleshoot issues related to order fulfillment, shipping, or inventory management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in fulfillment, warehousing, or logistics is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with order processing systems and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Work Environment:
