Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to join our team. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to provide insights that support decision-making and drive sales performance. Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data from various sources, including CRM systems, spreadsheets, and market research.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to the sales team and management.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within sales data to drive revenue growth and improve sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set realistic sales targets and KPIs based on data analysis and market conditions.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights to help the sales team achieve their goals.
  • Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape and customer preferences, providing recommendations for product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Assist in forecasting sales and revenue projections, contributing to the overall business planning process.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales initiatives and marketing campaigns by providing data-driven insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in sales analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within a sales or marketing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with sales processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
