We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. This position requires strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a solid background in building maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and safely while managing a team of maintenance technicians. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and longevity
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify areas that require repair or maintenance
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are readily available
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting safety training for team members as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
  • Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs and ensure a smooth operation
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment maintenance logs
  • Assist in budget preparation for maintenance operations and monitor expenditures to adhere to budgetary constraints

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in facilities management or a related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment:

  • This role involves working primarily indoors in a facility setting, with occasional outdoor work required
  • May require physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
