Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and initiate repairs as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management, prioritizing urgent repairs
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment and furniture for events and daily operations
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Assist in maintaining grounds, including landscaping, snow removal, and general outdoor upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks completed and supplies used
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
