The Butler serves as a key member of the household staff, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and maintaining high standards of service. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to providing personalized service to family members and guests. The Butler will manage household tasks, oversee staff, and ensure that the home is always in pristine condition.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized service to family members and guests, including meal service, beverage preparation, and table setting
• Manage the household inventory, including groceries, cleaning supplies, and personal items
• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the home, ensuring all areas are well-kept and organized
• Coordinate and manage household staff, including housekeepers, cooks, and gardeners, to ensure efficient operation
• Plan and organize social events, including dinners and gatherings, ensuring all details are handled meticulously
• Handle laundry and wardrobe management, including ironing, garment care, and packing for travel
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and service providers, coordinating any necessary services
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to the household

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a private household or luxury hotel environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Proficiency in household management, etiquette, and fine dining service
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation is a plus
• Valid driver’s license may be required
