As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service to ensure a welcoming and pleasant experience. This role requires strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, as well as the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in managing guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs while maintaining the hotel’s high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process
- Assist guests with check-out procedures, including settling bills and processing payments
- Manage reservations and provide accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for guests
- Promote hotel services and facilities, providing recommendations for local attractions and dining options
- Handle phone calls, emails, and online inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Process guest requests for special accommodations and provide personalized service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
