We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of guest rooms. You will ensure that each room is cleaned to hotel standards, replenished with amenities, and ready for new guests or daily service. The ideal candidate will be thorough, efficient, and have a keen eye for detail to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Replenish towels, linens, bathroom amenities, and other supplies in each guest room
• Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring the room is neat and tidy
• Inspect rooms for damage or missing items, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
• Replace used items, such as toiletries, water glasses, and coffee supplies
• Ensure that all appliances and fixtures, such as lights, air conditioning, and televisions, are in proper working condition
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Respond to guest requests or special requirements, such as extra towels or pillows, in a timely manner
• Ensure proper handling of guests’ personal belongings and privacy
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks when necessary, such as shampooing carpets or cleaning draperies
• Coordinate with other housekeeping staff and the front desk to ensure rooms are ready for guests
• Report lost and found items to management for proper handling
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, hallways, and housekeeping carts and storage rooms

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Excellent time-management skills to meet daily cleaning quotas
• Friendly and approachable demeanor, with good communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
