Responsibilities:
- Assess patients‘ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Educate patients about exercises and techniques to improve mobility and strength.
- Use various modalities and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and state licensure to practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate patients.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and exercise science.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with colleagues.
Work Environment:
- Primarily in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or rehabilitation centers.
- May involve working with patients of varying ages and physical abilities.
