Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

– Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.

– Advise visitors and staff on security procedures and policies.

– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.

– Write comprehensive reports outlining observations and activities during assigned shifts.

Qualifications:

– Proven work experience as a security officer or similar role.

– Familiarity with security protocols and procedures.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

– Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.

– Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.

– High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus.
