We are seeking a reliable Live-In Property Caretaker to oversee the maintenance, security, and daily operations of a large property or estate. You will be responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained and secure, while managing repairs, groundskeeping, and other upkeep tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily maintenance and security of the property
- Perform general repairs and maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Maintain the landscaping and gardens, including lawn care, trimming, and watering
- Supervise contractors and service providers for larger maintenance tasks
- Ensure that the property is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Monitor the property’s security systems and address any security concerns
- Report any significant maintenance issues or repairs to the property owner
Requirements:
- Prior experience in property management, maintenance, or caretaking
- Ability to live on-site full-time, with accommodation provided
- Skilled in basic home repairs and maintenance tasks
- Physically capable of handling outdoor and manual labor
- Trustworthy, with strong problem-solving and time management skills
