We are looking for a Marine Technician to maintain and repair boats and marine engines. You will work on everything from small personal watercraft to larger commercial vessels, ensuring that they are seaworthy and functioning efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery replacements, and tune-ups
• Diagnose and repair problems with propulsion systems, fuel lines, and steering mechanisms
• Install new equipment such as navigation systems, radios, and fish finders
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with maritime regulations
• Keep detailed service records and provide clients with maintenance recommendations
• Test boats and engines to ensure they are operating correctly

Requirements:

• Knowledge of marine engines, electronics, and mechanical systems
• Experience in boat or marine engine repair
• Certification in marine technology is preferred
• Ability to work on water and in outdoor environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces

Work Environment:

• Work in marinas, boatyards, and sometimes on the water
• Physically demanding tasks involving lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
• Interaction with boat owners, marina staff, and marine engineers
