We are hiring a Dental Hygienist to provide oral care services to patients, including cleanings, examinations, and preventive treatments. You will work alongside dentists to ensure patients maintain good oral health and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
- Perform teeth cleanings, including scaling and polishing
- Take X-rays and examine teeth for signs of decay or disease
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
- Assist dentists during exams and procedures as needed
- Maintain patient records and chart treatment plans
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure a clean working environment
Requirements:
- Certification as a Dental Hygienist
- Knowledge of dental hygiene practices and equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Work Environment:
- Work in a dental office or clinic
- Physically moderate tasks involving standing for long periods and performing dental procedures
- Regular interaction with patients and dental professionals
