We are seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide round-the-clock care and support for an elderly or disabled client in their home. You will ensure the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being while assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities
- Administer medications and follow care plans as instructed by healthcare providers
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring they are safe and comfortable
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including light housekeeping
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family members or medical professionals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in live-in caregiving or a similar role
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and supporting clients
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay in the client’s home for extended periods (with time off provided)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Work Environment:
- Live in the client’s home, providing constant care and support
- Physically demanding tasks involving assisting clients with mobility and personal care
- Regular communication with the client’s family and healthcare professionals
