We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing, and resolving any billing discrepancies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure timely and accurate billing.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and issue invoices for products and services rendered, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Analyze billing data and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to clarify billing-related inquiries and resolve issues
  • Maintain and update billing records in the financial system, ensuring all information is accurate and current
  • Conduct regular audits of billing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to billing and revenue
  • Support the month-end close process by ensuring all billing transactions are accurately recorded
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries regarding billing and payment issues
  • Stay updated on changes in billing regulations and industry practices to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
