We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle billing inquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices to customers on a timely basis
  • Review and validate billing information to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account statuses
  • Maintain accurate records of billing transactions, customer accounts, and payment histories
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that all services and products are billed correctly
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices to ensure timely payments
  • Assist in preparing monthly billing reports and summaries for management review
  • Implement and maintain billing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay updated on changes in billing regulations and industry best practices
  • Support the finance team in month-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
