Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support management decision-making
• Gather and compile financial data from various sources to provide accurate and timely reports
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Support the development of financial models to evaluate business performance and investment opportunities
• Collaborate with senior analysts to prepare presentations and reports for management and stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations based on findings
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role (internships or co-op experience acceptable)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial software is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
