Responsibilities

• Collaborate with producers and reporters to develop news stories and segments, providing insights and feedback.
• Stay updated on current events, breaking news, and trends to ensure accurate reporting and engaging storytelling.
• Engage with the audience through social media and other platforms, responding to viewer inquiries and feedback.
• Participate in promotional events and community outreach to enhance the station’s presence and brand.
• Adhere to journalistic ethics and standards, ensuring all content is fair and balanced.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a News Anchor or in a similar on-air role, with a strong portfolio of broadcast work.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong on-air presence.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong research and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms and social media for news distribution and audience engagement.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
