The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales and managing customer relationships within a designated geographical area. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client accounts, and achieving sales targets while promoting the company’s products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects in the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Conduct regular sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and territory management plans.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a territory sales or outside sales role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
