The Construction Manager oversees all aspects of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities from start to finish, including managing staff, contractors, budgets, and schedules. The Construction Manager is responsible for liaising with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet legal requirements and adhere to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to review blueprints and project requirements.
  • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects stay on track with deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Manage and supervise construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and safety.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.

Work Environment:

  • On-site at construction locations, requiring travel to various sites.
  • Occasionally in an office setting for planning and administrative tasks.
  • The role may involve long hours, especially near project deadlines.
