Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse or manufacturing team. The Packer will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring that items are packed according to company standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly packaged and labeled.
• Inspect products for quality, checking for any defects or issues before packing.
• Use packing materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.) to safely and efficiently pack items for transport.
• Ensure that packing slips, invoices, and shipping labels are accurately attached to each order.
• Maintain a clean and organized packing area, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
• Assist in managing inventory by reporting low stock levels and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet daily packing and shipping goals.
• Follow company packing standards and procedures to ensure that all products arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed (if applicable).
• Assist with other warehouse tasks such as unloading shipments, stocking inventory, and organizing workstations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Packer or in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise packing instructions.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs]), and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic math skills to count and verify orders accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily packing quotas.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
