Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and drives revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting performance goals and providing ongoing coaching and development.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create cohesive strategies that enhance the customer journey and improve conversion rates.
  • Establish and manage sales budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and efficiency.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and business development.
  • Develop and implement scalable sales processes and tools to optimize team productivity and support growth.
  • Report regularly on sales performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives to the executive team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vice President of Sales, Sales Director, or similar leadership role in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performance teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that achieve or exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support the sales team.
