As a Ramp Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of ground services for aircraft at the airport. This dynamic position requires physical strength and teamwork as you handle baggage, cargo, and equipment. Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage
• Operate ground support equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and cargo loaders, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Perform aircraft marshaling duties to guide aircraft to and from gates and parking areas
• Conduct inspections of cargo and baggage for security compliance before loading onto the aircraft
• Assist with aircraft servicing, including the replenishment of water, removal of waste, and restocking of supplies
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of luggage and cargo to meet tight deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized ramp area, including the proper storage of equipment and materials
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly
• Ensure compliance with airline and airport regulations and policies regarding safety and security
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate resources

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy luggage (up to 70 lbs)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work well with others
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Previous experience in ground handling or airport operations is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as mandated by airport regulations
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate various ground support vehicles

Work Environment:

• Work will primarily take place outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures
• The role requires standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks as part of a team in a busy airport setting
