As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that delight our customers and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. This role requires creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of baking techniques. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies, according to established recipes and specifications
- Measure, mix, and knead dough, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch
- Decorate and finish baked goods to meet presentation standards and customer expectations
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in developing new recipes and products based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage inventory and ensure the timely production of baked goods
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays as required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy bags of flour and equipment
