We are seeking a Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service at our gas station. You will assist customers with fueling their vehicles, handle cash transactions, and maintain the cleanliness of the station.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with fueling their vehicles and answer questions about fuel options
- Operate the cash register and handle credit card and cash payments
- Stock shelves and coolers with snacks, beverages, and other items
- Keep the gas station clean, including the restrooms and pumps
- Monitor fuel levels and report any issues with the pumps
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer concerns
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No prior experience is required, but retail or cashier experience is helpful
Work Environment:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work, often in all weather conditions
- Physically active role involving standing, lifting, and cleaning
- Interaction with a diverse range of customers throughout the day
