We are seeking a Cable Installer Technician to install and maintain cable television, internet, and telephone services for residential and commercial customers. You will ensure proper setup and functioning of systems while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure cable, internet, and phone services in customer homes and businesses
- Run cables, install equipment, and connect devices to ensure proper signal strength
- Troubleshoot and repair service issues, including connectivity problems and signal loss
- Educate customers on the proper use of equipment and services
- Maintain service records and complete installation paperwork
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Work with customer service to address any service-related issues
Requirements:
- Experience in cable installation or telecommunications
- Strong knowledge of cable systems, routers, and modems
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide solutions
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
- Physical stamina for working in attics, basements, and outdoor settings
Work Environment:
- Work in residential and commercial settings, both indoors and outdoors
- Physically demanding tasks involving climbing ladders, crawling, and lifting heavy equipment
- Regular interaction with customers and technical teams
