We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients across various age groups to improve communication skills and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Use exercises, tools, and techniques to improve speech clarity and comprehension
- Teach patients strategies for overcoming communication barriers
- Work with patients who have suffered strokes, injuries, or developmental delays
- Maintain records of patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including audiologists, occupational therapists, and physicians
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Experience with a range of speech and language disorders
Work Environment:
- Work in a hospital, school, or private practice
- Physically moderate tasks involving working with patients in therapy sessions
- Frequent interaction with patients, families, and healthcare providers
