We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that enhance the overall user experience. You will collaborate with developers and content creators to bring innovative web solutions to life, ensuring that each project meets client objectives and aligns with brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their website requirements, goals, and target audience
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
• Design and implement responsive web layouts that function seamlessly across various devices and browsers
• Select and integrate typography, color schemes, and imagery that enhance the visual appeal of the website
• Ensure websites are user-friendly and accessible, adhering to web standards and best practices in usability
• Work closely with web developers to translate design concepts into functional websites, providing support and guidance throughout the development process
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to make iterative improvements to website designs
• Stay current with industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your skill set
• Maintain organized project files and documentation for design projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in web design or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed web projects
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and web design tools (Sketch, Figma)
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to communicate effectively with developers
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools is a plus
