Job Description

The Head of HR Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing HR processes, systems, and policies to enhance organizational efficiency and employee experience. This position involves leading a team of HR professionals, managing HR operations across the organization, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The Head of HR Operations collaborates closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR operational strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and enhance employee engagement and performance
  • Lead and manage the HR Operations team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high levels of performance and engagement
  • Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies, while continuously monitoring and improving HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify HR needs and develop initiatives that support workforce planning and talent management
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in HR operations and employee satisfaction
  • Foster a positive organizational culture by promoting employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Manage HR technology systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and support HR operations effectively
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure HR operations remain competitive and compliant
  • Lead special projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing HR service delivery and optimizing organizational effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus
  • Proven experience in an HR leadership role, with a strong understanding of HR operations and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop HR professionals
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as HR metrics and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving organizational change and improvement
  • Proficiency in HRIS and HR technology platforms, with a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to enhance HR operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
