Job Description

The Campus Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies aimed at attracting top talent from colleges and universities. This role involves building relationships with academic institutions, managing the recruitment process for internship and entry-level positions, and promoting the organization’s brand on campus. The Campus Recruiter plays a crucial role in creating a pipeline of diverse talent and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a campus recruitment strategy that aligns with the organization’s talent acquisition goals and diversity initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at colleges and universities, including career services, faculty, and student organizations
  • Attend job fairs, campus events, and networking sessions to promote the organization and engage with potential candidates
  • Create engaging recruitment materials, including presentations, brochures, and social media content, to effectively communicate the employer brand to students
  • Screen and interview candidates for internship and entry-level positions, assessing qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of campus recruitment events, including information sessions, interviews, and networking events
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and tailor strategies to attract suitable candidates
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in campus recruitment and student engagement
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and support throughout the recruitment process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in a campus or university setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with students, faculty, and hiring managers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple recruitment events and processes simultaneously
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data and metrics to inform decision-making
  • Passion for connecting with students and promoting career opportunities
  • Willingness to travel to campuses and events as needed
