Job Description

The Regional HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing human resource functions across multiple locations within a specified region. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. The Regional HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to regional leadership, providing expert advice on talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives of the region
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to assess HR needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations across all locations
  • Lead the recruitment process for regional positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
  • Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts while maintaining a positive work environment
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and promote career growth within the organization
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance HR operations and ensure consistency across the region
  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion by promoting equitable practices and addressing any biases in recruitment and employee development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is preferred
  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including labor relations and compliance issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS), as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced office environment, collaborating closely with regional leaders, HR teams, and employees
  • Opportunities for travel may be required to visit different locations within the region
  • Focus on creating a positive workplace culture and supporting employee engagement initiatives
