The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role involves working closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and promotions
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and server station
• Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless dining experience
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (e.g., trays of food, beverages)
