The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a restaurant setting. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and present menus
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and dietary options
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining
• Process payments and handle cash or credit card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including utensils and condiments
• Assist with restocking supplies and preparing dining areas for service
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure a smooth operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling payments and processing orders
