The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the store, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the store’s profitability. This role involves managing and developing a team, ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining inventory, and implementing merchandising strategies. The Store Manager plays a critical role in creating a positive shopping experience and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to improve store profitability.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving complaints.
• Maintain store appearance and implement merchandising standards.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering stock and managing stock levels.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
• Handle staffing responsibilities, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with regional managers and corporate teams on promotions and other store-related initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze sales reports, and drive performance improvements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with retail management systems, POS systems, and inventory management software.
